Flower Shower at Fantabulous Cricut Happy Mother's Day!

This week at Fantabulous Cricut is Flower Shower. The challenge is to make a project with at least three flowers. Here is my card:

It's a Gate-fold card...

and the inside:

I thought this would be a nice card for Mother's Day...which is on Sunday.

Finished Card: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Materials:
Cardstock: White, Pink, 2 Shades of Green, Purple and Patterned Paper.
Cricut Cartridge Walk In My Garden Stem 2 page 103 (Base Shift) and Cornflower page 86 (Base)
Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Five (Second and Third Largest)
Martha Stewart Glitter Florentine Gold
Queen and Co Pearls Sunflower Yellow (2)
Computer Sentiment
Pink Ribbon
Mounting Tape

I hope that you are able to spend some time with your mother this Sunday. I lost mine in 1991...July will be 20 years. Wow...is it really that long? I miss her so much. There are still times that I go to pick up the phone so I can tell her something important that is happening. I know she is with me and always looking out for me.That thought gives me comfort. Therefore, I dedicate this card to all the mothers out there (living or not).

Leave me a comment...I always love hearing from you...thanks!

Make a memory this Sunday with your mother or with your kids...no matter what it is, it will be cherished. Happy Mother's Day!

imagine what you could do.....

  1. What a lovely card, Dana! I love the mat you've used behind the flowers. Everything works together so beautifully!
I'm so sorry to read about your mother. You will be in my thoughts and prayers as Sunday will be especially difficult. The years ease the pain but never take it away. xox

  2. Dana, your card is just lovely! I love the soft colors and images you have used. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, it's always hard no matter how many years have gone by. I lost my Daddy 4 years ago and each year I dread seeing Father's Day roll around because it reminds me of that loss. Hugs to you :0)
