There's been a lot going on around here for the last week or so. You knew that my youngest was in an accident (again, he was fine), but the Explorer was totaled. So we were starting to look around for a car for him and dealing with the insurance. Well, twelve days after Jeff's accident, my middle son's car just died. Not really wanting to put any money into a car that had over 170,000 miles on it, we were left with trying to find two cars. (Oh, the joy!) Thankfully to my husband and a lot of man hours, we now have two "new" cars...a 2008 Jeep Patriot for my youngest and a 2006 Nissan Altima for my middle son (...and two car payments for us...lol)
With all of that, not a whole lot of crafting going on around here. However, I was able to make one for The Paper Variety this morning. It's a "Tic Tac Toe" challenge. I picked "Create A Card", "Use Two Border Punches" and "Spring Theme". Here is my card:
Finished Card: 4 3/4" x 6"
Materials:
Cardstock: White, Yellow and Green
Free Vintage Stamps, Digital Image, Rabbit
Spectrum Noir Markers
Recollections Border Punch Dotted Line
Martha Stewart Border Punch String Lace
EKS Scallop Circle Punch
Fiskars All Year Greeting Clear Stamps, "For You"
White Pigment Ink
Green Pigment Ink
Thin Green Ribbon
Mounting Tape
I mounted the "For You" Flower, the Bunny and the Lace border. (I think you can see the shadows from the layers). I really like the way it came out. What do you think?
Well, back to the craft room....thanks for stopping by.
imagine what you could do...

The Paper Players Challenge...Jaydee's Color Challenge
Second post today...
There is a color challenge at The Paper Players this week. (Bravo Burgundy, More Mustard, Cajan Craze and Very Vanilla).
This is what I came up with:
Finished Card: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Materials:
Cardstock: White, Mustard, and Patterned Paper
Cricut Cartridge Simply Charmed Ghost, page 58 (Layer 1 Base and Shadow Base)
1 3/8" Circle Punch
Studio G Mini Bat Punch
Scrappy Moms Clear Stamps "Have a Spooky Day!" and "Happy Halloween"
Recollections Border Punch Dotted Lines
Black Pigment Ink
White Pigment Ink
Black Chalk
Pink Chalk
Mounting Tape
This card was pretty easy to make and quite quick. Hope you like it. (The background paper has the burgundy and the cajan...I'm not sure if the color truly comes through in the photo).
Leave a message...I would just love to hear from you.

Creations With Christina Challenge #8 Final One
Can't believe we're at #8 The Final Challenge...Create a card using any pumpkin image from any Cricut Cartridge.
I used two pumpkins from the same cartridge...Pumpkin Carving. Since it doesn't have a layer feature I cut it twice, once in orange and once in green, then I cut off the stem to make my own layer.
I can't believe it...I made a card for ALL eight challenges! I am ecstatic that I was able to complete them. Guess you never what you can do, until you try! So, if I can do it, then imagine what you could do....

Creations With Christina Challenge #6
Ok...challenge #6...Make a card using a fall image or a fall stamp.
What do you think? As much as I love summer, I love the colors of fall.
I know I'm probably repeating myself...but I'm having SO much fun...you should try...imagine what you could do...
