I made a card for two challenges: The Paper Players (Color challenge: Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz) and The Paper Variety (Use a Fan Fold Embellishment).
My card:
Finished Card: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Materials:
Cardstock: White, Red, Coral, Green and Patterned Paper (These colors looked the closest to what was shown on The Paper Players website)
Cricut Cartridge Ribbons and Rosettes Heart 1, page 35 (Base) Cut at 1 1/4"
Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Scalloped Ovals Large (Two Largest)
Small Circle Punch
Small Heart Punch
Computer Printed Sentiment
Mounting Tape
I did cut six of the bases in order to make a rosette. However, after folding three of them, I got the idea for the fan and decided to use that instead (so now, I have 3 more bases for another project). I also used a large circle and hot glue to hold it together on the back side. I cut the circle to make a straight edge a long the bottom of the fan, then I glued and wrapped the small green circle around to the back.
Stop back soon...and leave a comment (I love to read them)
imagine what you could do...
Very pretty. I love that you added that fan with a heart.

so pretty Dana!! Love the sentiment :)
ReplyDeleteHi again! You asked me how I was picking my carts/images. A few different ways...requests, looking thru each cart (a VERY LONG process but it refreshes my memory of what is on each one I own), MyCutSearch, challenges, and trial and error. Sometimes I cut a few images (various sizes sometimes) and see how they look and choose the one I like best. I am very visual, so I have to see it. I go thru some paper though, but the final product is worth it. Sometimes I get inspiration from others, but I try not to duplicate or use a cut that I see often. I am trying to use as many "new" ones to me as possible.
