At Fantabulous Cricut this week, the challenge was "Happy 4th!" (use red, white, and blue on your project). I made a card:
When I think of the 4th of July, I think of bar-b-ques, flags, red, white and blue, freedom and of course, fireworks. I just love fireworks! Seeing the beautiful flashes of colors that go streaming through the black sky. How about you?
Finished Card: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Materials:
Cardstock: White, Red, Blue and Fireworks Patterned Paper
Cricut Cartridge: Stand and Salute Fireworks, page 50 (Base)
Cricut Design Studio
Martha Stewart Tinsel Glitter Garnet, Crystal and Lapis Lazuli
Computer Generated Sentiment
Mounting Tape
Work should be slowing down at the end of the week. The bedroom projects are still going on, slow but sure. I did get some flowers planted, but I still have more. Harvested more string beans out of the garden. The tomato plants are getting really big with lots of green tomatoes on the vines. There are blossoms on the cucumbers plants, but no cucumbers yet. There are two small jalapeno peppers that are ready to be picked. Nothing yet on the other peppers or eggplant plants.
Just want to share one more picture...is there anything more precious than this?
I don't think so......lol Aren't kids great?
Well, I hope you have a great and safe holiday. (I will be working on the 4th...but I think only in the morning). Enjoy...

Happy Father's Day
Wishing all the Father's out there a very special day.
To my son....
One of the most precious gifts
From Heaven above
Is the gift of a daughter
For a Daddy to love.
-DRC
To my husband...
It's honey do this and Joe do that
Please help with the dishes and where are you at?
I know I act like I don't see
But you're the best Husband and Father that you could ever be.
-a variation from DRC
I love you guys! Happy Father's Day!

Wedding Wishes
This week at Fantabulous Cricut the challenge was "Wedding Wishes" (to make a project with the color white and a bell on it). I made a card:
I feel as though the photo does not do justice to the card ( I guess because of the white on white). There is glitter on the bell and the word "love". The vellum is in the opening behind the bell. You could actually use this as a wedding or an anniversary card.
Finished size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Materials:
Cardstock: White and Vellum (Behind the Bell)
Cricut Cartridge Stretch Your Imagination Bell, page 72 (Base and Base Card)
Cricut Cartridge Opposites Attract "love" page 125, (Base)
Cricut Design Studio
Sizzix Frame, Rectangle
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder Swiss Dots
White Glitter (on bell and "love")
Queen and Co Pearls, Pearl 4 Large, 4 Medium and 5 Small
White Ribbon
Mounting Tape
To keep you updated, work is still pretty busy...although I think that will be ending by the end of the month. We painted the one bedroom on Saturday, so the bedroom switch is moving along...thank goodness. I can't wait to get my house back in order. Maybe then I can start on cleaning up my craft area? hahaha (That would take a miracle!)
I harvested some vegetables this past week...lettuce, radishes, onions, and string beans...yum! I have some green tomatoes on the vine and a few hot peppers. Still have to get some flowers planted.
Please leave a comment...I love hearing from you. Have a great rest of the day/week.

Wow Feels Like Forever
Quick post...sorry haven't been around lately. My work schedule has kept me hopping...and tired! Haven't really had any time to craft. Hope that will change soon. Still have our bedrooms switch-a-roo happening too (have to paint one of the rooms yet). I would appreciate it if you keep checking back. Thanks. I would love to hear from you.
