Digi Haven's Challenge "Halloween"

If you are looking for CardzTV Challenge "Fall-o-ween Fun", click here.

Our challenge this week with Digi Haven is "Halloween". (Geez, I can't believe it's almost that time again...where has this year gone?) The challenge will last from Oct 19th through November 1st. As always, please link back to the original artist  to give them the credit they deserve.

I made a card for this challenge.

Finished Card: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Materials:
Cardstock: Purple, White and Glittered Patterned
DZ Doodles Digital Image
Spectrum Noir Markers
Spellbinders Nestabilities Big Scalloped Squares Small, Largest
Scrappy Mom's Clear Stamp "The Witch Is {In}"
Purple Pigment Ink
EK Success Corner Rounder Punch
Martha Stewart Glitter, Golden Beryl
Doodlebug Crushed Velvet Flock, Purple
Queen and Co Pearls, Lavender 3 Small
Green Pigment Ink
Orange Ribbon
Mounting Tape

I really like the way this came together...what do you think?

I usually like decorating for Halloween (I have almost as many decorations for Halloween as I do for Christmas), but I'm having a hard time with it this year. Guess from not feeling all that great for the past couple months...oh my, has it been that long already?...the idea of dragging the stuff down from the attic and the fact that we just don't get that many children anymore, I just wasn't into it. (Feeling like an old fuddy-duddy!) Have any of you felt like this? Well, I finally did it last weekend...not everything mind you, but enough I think. Spiders, jack-o-lanterns, pumpkins, mice and a few skeletons. (Don't want to bring too much scary stuff out this year with Gianna).

Thanks for stopping by...let me know what you think!

imagine what you could do...

Digi Haven Challenge "Back to School"

I know there is about another month left of summer (thank goodness), however, here at Digi Haven, the challenge is to use a free digital image for "Back to School".

Here is my card:

Finished Card: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Materials:
Cardstock: White, Pink and Patterned Paper
Melonheadz Illustrating Digital Image
Spectrum Noir Markers
Spellbinders Nestabilities Big Scalloped Squares Small, 2 Largest
EKS Border Punch Scallop Diamond
Queen and Co Pearls, Silver 6 Small
Mounting Tape

This image just reminded me of a little girl getting ready for kindergarten. (Maybe I can save this for my granddaughter, Gianna, in a couple of years...lol).

Now if you have followed me a little, you know I love Melonheadz Illustrating Images. She has so many freebies. :)  So why don't you come and join us in this challenge. Don't forget to link back to the original artist and give them the credit that they deserve.

Thanks for stopping by.
