Here at CardzTV, the Linky Party Go-to Galz Challenge is "Jars, Jams and Jellies". Sounds like fun right? Check out all the design team projects 'cause we really have some talented ladies here. Also don't forget to play. Mary has a set of stamps for the winner. Now who wouldn't want to win one of her stamps sets!!!!

Here is my project:

Finished Tag: 3 1/8" x 4 3/4"

Sizzix Tag, Super Traditional

This was a fun one to make. I cut the image with the Silhouette Cameo, colored it, added the raffia and single mounted it to the tag. Hope you like it.

I haven't been around a lot lately. So many things going on...painting, painting and more painting. Lost my mojo somewhat also. Anyway, I appreciate it that you have checked in today. Thanks.

CardzTV Stamp Challenge "Fall-o-ween Fun"

If you are looking for Digi Haven's Challenge "Halloween", click here.

CardzTV 's Challenge this week is "Fall-o-ween Fun". Create a Fall or Halloween project. Doesn't that sound like fun? This challenge runs from Oct 19 through the 25th. And don't forget, Mary is giving away a set of her stamps to the winner...make sure you enter!

Here is my project:

I made some little treat bags for Gianna's preschool class. (I have more of them, I just didn't photograph all of them....lol).

Finished Treat Bag: approximately 3" x 3 3/4"

Materials:
Cardstock: Purple, Light Purple, Orange and Green
Cricut Cartridge Mini Monsters Jack-O-Lantern, page 59 (Base, Layer 1 Base and Layer 1 Shift)
CardzTV with Mary Clear Stamps Oct 31st, "Halloween Greetings for Happy Trick or Treating!"
White Pigment Ink
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder Spiderweb
Brown Marker (for stem)
White Galaxy Marker (for teeth)
Googly Eyes (two different sizes for each bag)
Lollipop Bag
Stapler
Candy

First, I cut out 3" x 4" rectangles and scored them at 3", to make a fold. I then stamped the sentiment with white pigment ink. I added the candy to the bag, folded it over and stapled the purple rectangle over it. I embossed the small 2" x 2" light purple squares and adhered them in the center of the dark purple. After I colored the teeth in, I assembled the jack-o-lantern, colored the stem, glued the googly eyes on and then glued it down to the light purple square.

Don't you think that Gianna will like them? I do... :)

Thanks for dropping by...leave me a comment. Don't forget to join the challenge over at CardzTV with Mary. You might just win a stamp set, if you do.

CardzTV Stamp Challenge "Buttons and Boo's"

If you are looking for the Digi Haven Challenge "Pumpkin", click here.

CardzTV with Mary Clear Stamps Challenge "Buttons and Boo's". Make a Halloween project using buttons! Challenge runs from October 5th to the 11th. Don't forget that Mary gives the winner their choice of one of her stamp sets. Who wouldn't want to win one her sets?

Here is my inspirational card:

Finished Card: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Materials:
Cardstock: White and Black
Cricut Cartridge Simply Charmed Ghost, page 58 (Layer 1 Base and Shadow Base)
CardzTV with Mary Clear Stamps Oct 31st "Ghostly Greetings!"
Darice Embossing Essentials Folder Swirl
Mini Bat Punch
Black Pigment Ink
Large Iridescent Button
Round Black Puff Button
Wire
Black Embossing Powder
White Acrylic Paint
Black Sharpie

I just love the button moon, don't you? The background is embossed, however, instead of using the "right" side, I turned it over and swirled black pigment ink lightly over it. I like the effect it gave...something different. The spider is a button with the hole underneath. I took 3 pieces of thin wire, put them through the hole and twisted. Next, I clipped to length and spread them out to look like legs. (If you look closely, you will see them). I also took the back of a small paintbrush and dipped it into white paint, then dotted the eyes for the spider. Let dry and then dot the middle of the eyes with a black Sharpie. I used black embossing powder on the "Ghostly Greetings!". The ghost is single mounted.

I really like how this turned out. Do you? Sometimes, I find that I make a card and like it when I'm making it, but afterward, maybe a day later or so, I'm not so in love with it. It doesn't happen a lot, but...does this ever happen to you? Well, that's not the case this time...lol.

Thanks for stopping by. Please leave me a comment.

"Happy Haunting!" for Paper Players Challenge

Well, I'm back (at least for today)! Had a little inspiration, so while I was doing the wash, I thought I would make a card for the The Paper Players Challenge (which is a sketch).

Here is my card:

This is the sketch:

Finished Card: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Materials:
Cardstock: Purple, Green and Patterned Paper
The Paper Studio Cardstock Stickers Happy Halloween (Haunted House)
Recollections Glitter On A Roll
1 3/8" Circle Punch
CardzTV with Mary Clear Stamps Oct 31st, "Happy Haunting!"
Clear Embossing Powder
Recollections Dimensional Stickers (Jack-O-Lanterns)
Mounting Tape

I used the green cardstock to frame the haunted house sticker and single mounted it over the scrolling "banners". The "Happy Haunting!" is embossed with clear embossing powder and triple mounted. I thought it needed something at the bottom, so I cut apart the Jack-O-Lanterns sticker and added it to the bottom of the card. What do you think? I like the way it turned out.

If you couldn't tell, it's been awhile since I have tackled a challenge (other than my Design Team commitments). It felt good getting back and creating. Now of course, is there 17 thousand things I should have been doing? Yep, but you know what, they aren't going anywhere. They will still be there later! (Unfortunately!)

Let me know what you think...leave a comment please.
