If you are looking for the CardzTV Stamp Challenge, click here.
This week's challenge at Digi Haven is to use a FREE digital image of a dog or cat.
Finished Card: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Materials:
Cardstock: White, Black and Patterned Paper
Melonheadz Illustrating Digital Image
Spectrum Noir Markers
CardzTV with Mary Clear Stamps Barks and Bones, "Dogs Leave Paw Prints On Your Heart!"
Queen and Co Pearls Berry Red, 1 Medium
Mounting Tape
Isn't he SOOO cute?! I love Melonheadz images and I actually printed out the image 3 times. I colored the first one completely. The second image I colored the bone and muzzle the same as the first and the third one, I colored only the muzzle. After I fussy cut them out, I single mounted each layer on top of the other.
The background paper totally goes with the sentiment...don't you agree?
Hope you decide to join us this week for the challenge. I can't wait to see what you make. Don't forget to link back to the original artist.
Thanks for stopping by.

Another great Challenge with CardzTV stamps...It's "Anything Goes!" Isn't that fun! The challenge will run through midnight Thursday. The winner will be picked by random.org on Friday and will win one of Mary's wonderful stamp sets.
Here is my card:

Cardstock: White, Black, Red, Brown, Pink and Patterned Paper
Cricut Cartridge Create A Critter Skunk, Page 61 (Base and Layer 1)

Hope you check out the projects from the other designers (this is the new design team) and you join the challenge.
Thanks for stopping by. I would love to hear what you think...please leave a comment!

Digi Haven's Challenge Fanciful Fairy
This week it's Fanciful Fairy Challenge at Digi Haven. Use a Fairy or Winged Cherub free digital image.
I made two versions of the same image:
Top card:
Glossy Accents on wings, butterfly and middle of flowers; Glitter on wings:
Bottom card:
Glossy Accents on butterfly and middle of flowers; Glitter on wings:
Finished Card: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Top Card Materials:
Cardstock: White and Two Different Patterned Papers
Paper Dreams Digital Image (https://www.facebook.com/PaperDreamsApp)
Spectrum Noir Markers
Inkssentials Glossy Accents
Nicole Ultra Fine Premium Glitter Extra Fine Multi Diamond Dust
White Ribbon
Mounting Tape
Bottom Card Materials:
Cardstock: White, Tan and Patterned Paper
Paper Dreams Digital Image (https://www.facebook.com/PaperDreamsApp)
Spectrum Noir Markers
EK Success Slot Punch
Inkssentials Glossy Accents
Nicole Ultra Fine Premium Glitter Extra Fine Multi Diamond Dust
Pink/Coral Thin Ribbon
Queen and Co Pearls Sunflower Yellow, 4 Small
Mounting Tape
The images are colored the exact same way. The only difference is on the wings. On the top card, I used Glossy Accents, let it dry and then I glittered them. On the bottom card, I only used glitter on the wings.
I thought that she was such a pretty image. I decided not to put on any sentiment(s) on the front as I'm not sure what I want to use the card(s) for....birthday, "Miss You", "Congratulations" or "Thinking of You". Any of these would be appropriate.
I hope you like these cards. Thanks for stopping by. I would love to know what you think...please leave a comment.

A Couple of Cards
My son needed a couple of cards for graduation parties. He was pretty specific what he wanted. He gave me about 15 minutes to made both cards!!!!! (The miracles that Mom's can do...lol)
Here are my first card:
This was for a friend that he went to High School and Rutgers with.
And the second card:
This was for a friend that is continuing on in school for their Masters that has to do something with a Library or books (something like that). This is an Elizabeth O. Dulemba digital image.
I know these are pretty simple, but what do you want for 15 min? lol I had some stickers for "Rutgers", so that made that easy enough. I had to print and color the mouse image. Well, I didn't think I did so bad. My son was happy (and that was all that counted! Right?)
Thanks for dropping by...(leave a comment)

These two design teams have joined together to create some fun in the sun beach-themed projects! Inspired by the concept of the Digi Haven challenge blog, all of our creations we have for you today were made using free digis!

If you just came across the hop and would like to start at the beginning, please visit Ashley's blog, Made Especially For You.
Here is my project (I actually made three cards using the same digital image):
Each individual card
First Card (Bottom Left):
Second (Top Left):
Third (Right):
Each Finished Card: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Materials:
Cardstock: White, Tan, Yellow, Purple, Turquoise, Pink and Patterned Paper (Various)
Elizabeth O. Dulemba Digital Image (All)
Spectrum Noir Markers (All)
Mounting Tape (All)
Queen and Company Pearls and/or Rhinestones (Card 1 and 2)
Ribbon (Card 1)
Black Marker (Card 3)
On the first card, the purple card stock is single mounted and the image is single mounted on one side but double mounted on the other side to make it even. I used only "Bling" on this card. On the second card, I used the glitter to look as sand. On the third card, I used Glossy Accents on the glasses, sand and flower middles of the flip flops. Cards 2 and 3 are single mounted. Finally, I dotted the edges of the purple card stock on the third card. Also, on cards 2 and 3, I used the Spectrum Noir Markers for the edges around the patterned paper
Elizabeth O. Dulemba has some really great images...don't forget to check them out. Maybe you could find one and take the challenge at Digi Haven! Or feel free to use another free digi and enter the challenge...just don't forget to link it back to the original artist.

Happy Birthday Jeff
Today my youngest, Jeff, is no longer a teenager...he is turning 20! (Oh, I am feeling old!) I made this card for him:
Finished Card: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Materials:
Cardstock: White, Red and Patterned Paper
Little Scraps of Heaven Designs Digital Image
CardzTV with Mary Clear Stamps Make a Wish, "Happy Birthday!"
Spectrum Noir Markers
Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Five, Largest
StazOn Jet Black Ink
Mounting Tape
He is in the process of becoming a firefighter (he has firefighter school to attend yet, which is in August), so I thought this was appropriate. The background paper reminded me of flames...not stick in your face kind of flames, but the idea of flames. Hope you get what I mean. The numbers in the corner are for his station.
Thanks for stopping by...I would love to hear what you think, so leave a comment.

Digi Haven Challenge Christmas In July
The theme is Christmas in July at Digi Haven this week. (Oh, I really do not want to think about Christmas yet! lol...especially when the temperature has been in the high 90's!) Use any Christmas or Winter Free Digi.
Here is my card:
Finished Card: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Materials:
Cardstock: Green, Red, Patterned Paper and White (for printing the images)
Little Scraps of Heaven Digital Image (Reindeer)
Paper Smooches Digital Image (Presents)
Spectrum Noir Markers
Queen and Co Pearls Berry Red, 3 Medium
Black Wire
Dark Brown Pigment Ink
Small Hole Punch
Mounting Tape
I printed out the presents twice and single layered them over each other. I double layered the reindeer. I cut off the handle on the presents image and replaced it with black wire. I rubbed the brown pigment ink around the edges of the patterned paper to "age" it a little. I punched out the small red dots and added them to the gift bag.
Now really, I can't believe that it's July already! Where is this year going? However, soon enough it will be the Christmas season and we will be sending out those Christmas cards to our friends and family. Guess this is as good a time to start making them, as any. I just love these two images. You could use them together, as I did, or separately.
Hope you decide to join this challenge...just remember to link the free digital image.
I am entering this into CardzTV "Christmas in July Challenge".
Thanks for stopping by.

Gianna's Carnival Party
Here are a few pictures from the party that we had for Gianna's 3rd birthday. (I promised you that I would share).
Some of the games (There were 12 total):
Knock 'Em Down
Fish Bowl
Duck Pond
Pin The Nose On The Clown
Feed Me
Spray Away
Food Tables
We had Corn Dogs, Mini Corn Dogs, Hot Dogs, Peanuts, Popcorn, Cracker Jacks, Cotton Candy, Chips, Chicken and Bagel Bites. All the favorites.
I made bags for the peanuts.
Gianna helped me make the signs for all of the games and tables. She painted the backgrounds in blue, red, green or yellow, then I splatted some extra paint on them. I then used my Cricut and all different Fonts to cut out all the names of the games and tables.
It was warm that day, so the pool was next on the list.
It was a lot of work, but everyone had a great time! Hope you enjoyed the pictures...
